A fellow former coworker, all around awesome guy, and dedicated family man passed away from injuries sustained in a Sprint Car practice session this weekend.

I worked with Scott and his brother Brian for many years, Scott was always involved with racing but always put his family first and his love for all things wheeled second. I remember the day he brought in his Pro Street drag car that he sold to go Sprint Car racing.
I didn't hear the news until I arrived to work today. Today will transgressed with a heavy heart.

Thanks. It's hitting me harder than it should. I kinda always looked up to the guy. He was doing what he loved and worked very hard for it.

My condolences, it's always tough to lose a brother/sister in the industry.
Side note, why does ESPN make a link between Sprint Cars and the Sprint Cup? They don't coorelate at all, get your facts straight ESPN.
